Crofty, on the Gower Peninsular, is the home of a quaint restaurant and pub; The Crofty Inn. Serving up fresh and homemade meals, it’s very popular with the locals.

The Brief

Wendy, the owner and head chef of The Crofty Inn told us that she needed a platform for potential visitors to find out a bit about the place before they arrived. She wanted something simple that showcased what The Crofty Inn has to offer.

The Development

Wendy’s specialty pancakes are the unique selling point of The Crofty’s menu, so we decided to segment the sections of the menu clearly on the new website. Consequently, this allows the speciality pancakes to stand out without getting lost in a menu.

We figured that the meals on offer at The Crofty look impressive enough that they could sell themselves! So a site with plenty of images was important.

The Results

A one page website, menu and promotional material creatively communicates The Crofty Inn’s menu and services. The site features a blog so that customers can keep updated on all things Crofty. It also showcases the meals available through galleries and images throughout.

As The Crofty Inn’s menu can change seasonally and there is a blog to be kept updated, the website designed was built using a CMS. Wendy and her other staff members can go into WordPress and update and change content to keep it updated.
